The mission of the organization is to assist young people in obtaining reliable transportation so they have the means and opportunity to get on the road to success, providing a “hand up” not a “hand out”. Helping people obtain reliable transportation will increase the number of employable individuals, build the local workforce and benefit the entire community. Providing the opportunity of car ownership will reduce the feeling of hopelessness and promote a sense of pride and well-being, leading to a more productive life.
Mission: The Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce will encourage, promote and provide resources for tourism and economic growth to support a healthy business environment in the City of Excelsior Springs and the surrounding area.
Mission: The Excelsior Springs Area Cultural Guild is nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring the arts. We encourage and promote appreciation for the fine arts through education and community events.
Mission: The organization will provide scholarships to graduates of Excelsior Springs 40 School District; fund capital improvements to educational facilities; fund programs to maintain and improve educational programs for elementary and secondary students; provide educational supplies and equipment; and assist Excelsior Springs 40 School District with public relations.
Mission: ESFOA helps with the cost of emergency/urgent veterinary care for pets in need. We often assist with pet food vaccines, preventatives, medicine etc. We provide services for pets both owned and homeless- making a difference in the lives of hundreds of animals. We are a 501(c) 3 non profit organization and have no paid staff. We rely solely on the generosity of donors.
Mission: To collect and preserve the history of the City of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and to provide archival information regarding people who have resided in this community. The Excelsior Springs Historical Museum achieves the mission by the following activities: collecting and preserving hsitorical artifacts; updating document preservation; assissting those doing research on either the community or their families; creating museum displays; maintaining crafts of weaving; providing historical programs for schools and civic organizations; and conducting tours of the museum to the general public.

Mission: The Good Samaritan Center of Excelsior Springs was founded in 1986 in response to increasing needs of low-income persons and families in Excelsior Springs and the surrounding rural areas. The Center gives emergency assistance in the form of food, utility, shelter, medical and transportation help, referrals to other programs, and counseling and encouragement. A thrift Store, Broadway Bargains, offers the general public low-cost clothing and household items, vouchers for free goods to the indigent, and work opportunities for participants.
